My Very Second Activity Of The Spring Learning Journey! *Woo...*

Kia ora!

Welcome back to my blog!

Today, I'm posting my second activity on the Spring Learning Journey! (Again, woo!)

Incase you haven't seen my last blog on the Spring Learning Journey, I suggest you check it out.

Anyways, for all of you who don't know what the Spring Learning Journey is, here's an explanation:

If you don't know what the Spring Learning Journey is, then here's an explanation of what it is:

The Spring Learning Journey or, Learning Journeys, (There are different learning journeys for each season) are a bunch of learning activities that you can do in the holidays.

This is so your learning stays on high standards and so you don't forget anything.

Each activity you do gives you points. based on how many points you get, you can get 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Also, if you complete a number of activities, still you get a prize.

And even if you still participate, but you don't win 1st, 2nd or 3rd, you STILL get a prize. So their really generous.

The prize can be as big as a new speaker, or even a device, or as little as a new drink bottle, or maybe just money!

So, there isn't much to say, because the slide below says everything else.

Please read, comment, and enjoy!

  1. Hey Hana, its me Parwin! I see you are also doing the Spring Learning Journey, the challenge is on!

Okay, so first of all, I just have to say that if you made that ice cream and cake, awesome work! The cake especially looks REALLY nice and tasty. But I agree with you, I would rather just have ice cream than cake because like you, I don't have cake that often and I only have muffins that I bring to school. Also, you can have ice cream when its really warm so it cools you down but cake can't do any of those things.

This reminded me of when I did this activity I think 2 days ago. I basically did the same thing as you except I think I did mine on Canva but then took screenshots and put them on Google Slides because when I tried embedding it, didn't work and took way too long.

I think that you did a great job, from the information that you have given to the actual activity. You can tell that you put a lot of effort into it because as usual, you work is outstanding! If you have anything that you can think of to make your blog post even better then go for it because I personally can't think of something for you to improve on because your blog post is amazing!

    Awesome work!

Looking forward to your next posts,
    Parwin

  2. Hi Hana,

Great work on your second Spring Learning Journey post. Personally I would rather eat cake, because ice cream gives me a sore tummy. I agree with Parwin though, your presentation is fantastic. I can't wait to read your next post. Remember you need 6 to qualify for a prize.

  3. Hey there Hana, it's me Jedi😃. It's so great to see that you have decided to participate in the Spring Learning Journey. I'm guessing you made the Ice cream and cake, because if you did they are super good! I am literally jumping up and don in my seat (as I do 😉). I think that this post is really awesome and so you. Honestly, I didn't want to complete this post, because making the decision was too stressful😨 (as you know ;D). It was really hard to figure out something for you to improve on, but I did think that the text was a little hard to read. Maybe you could highlight it, or color the text box (but make it transparent so that we can see your super doodles).

The decision is up to you Hana, good luck!

    1. Hi Jedi! I'm glad you decided to comment on my blog! I really appreciate it!

Anyways, I read that you were jumping up and... don? in your seat. don? (whisper) check your spelling Jedi!! It's a lot like you to not know what to choose, Icecream, or cake.

  4. Kia ora Hana,
    Its Grace.
I see you wanted to do the spring learning Journey.
You did a great job on making the slide pus the cake and the ice cream.

Plus I would do the same no cake because there are other things that taste the same like cupcakes etc.

I think you explained this really well and liked your slide.
I agree with Jedi Maybe you highlight the text or something its a bit hard to read.
Plus you could add the link to the Spring Learning Journey site so the other people can see, but apart from that its really good.

    Keep up the great work

    1. Thank you Grace for commenting on my blog!

I'm glad that you liked my drawings too, it means a lot to me! Also, just a quick thing that you could change on your comment, you added plus twice. Maybe a different connective will work, like also, or something.

  6. Kia ora Hana, I'm Amelia from Yaldhurst Model School. (As you know.)

I liked the way you put pictures of ice cream and cake and also put reasons of why you picked what you did.

This reminded me of when I did this activity, we both have the same answers too.

To improve, maybe you could put your favourite animal on the last slide saying bye.

Why did you choose this activity?

Bye Hana, don't forget to comment!

    1. Thank you Amelia for commenting on my blog, I really appreciate it!

To answer your question, I chose this because it was one of the easiest activities to do. :P Also, I probably wouldn't put my favourite animal on the last slide, because I don't have one! their all so cute! (Apart from the blobfish, search it up. It's really derpy)
