A Whole New World...

Today, for my homework, I've decided to post a blog about:

If a movie was made of your life in your house, what would it be called? Why? Which actors and actresses would you want to be in it? Create a movie poster to share this information.

First off, the movie is called a whole new world.

It all starts when I open the book....

(I really like that!)

So, I created the movie poster starring all of the actors and actresses in the movie.

I made it using google drawings.

The actors and actresses are all my family.

Like my parents, my siblings, my uncles, my grandma, people like them.

I made it by myself with the "Curve" option.

And this week in maths, we've been learning about mistakes... YEAH....

So in our workbooks, we have to point out the mistakes in the working out, and how we could solve it.

and while doing this, I learned that whenever you make a mistake on your work or you work hard, your brain grows!

The Magnificent Marathon thingamabob! :/

Hey there!

Today, I've decided to post a blog about the little marathon that was going on in our school

So, for the past weeks, some children participated in running a marathon.

The marathon people ran a whopping 42.195 kilometers! (I think :/ ) 

Sadly, I didn't participate, because for most of it, I was overseas in Japan.

A Picture Paints a thousand words...

Today, for my homework, I decided pick an activity that is much less specific.

The activity was: A picture can paint a thousand words. Use this picture to inspire your blog post. 

So that picture made me think of life, and death. and the words "A picture can paint a thousand words" also inspired me. So I decided to make an animation (With no words) based on life, and death.

(I recommend that you put the slideshow on fullscreen. And also, I used animations, so press the play button down on the left corner, and once you have pressed play, don't touch ANYTHING. Because once you press play, the animation goes on by itself. It's like a youtube video)

Hello there! 

Today, (I mean, just a minute ago) we had an author come to our class to talk about her experience in writing a book. 

 (I'm not going to tell you her name now, I'm just gonna tell you in the slide so you HAVE to take a look into the slide. Hehe, I'm so smart)

The book was called Peka and Koro. Friends of the forest.

Her books are based on native creatures in New Zealand. Like the Kereru.
