Ki ora, just recently my Teacher showed the class a website called dance party. It teaches you about coding, there are other coding websites they have too.  I have been recently working on my dance party click on the slides down below to see my dance party (the video is in the slides).
The best part is at the end you get to make your own dance party and you can share it to your friends. There are also some other blocks you would have not seen before at the end as well. That's all from me, oh yeah, here's the link to dance party if you want to try it for yourself! See you soon!

T4W1 Writing

Hey there bloggers! For writing this week we have been writing letters to the places that we went in the holidays. I have been focusing on adding extra detail. Please read, enjoy and leave a comment!

Arthur’s Pass National Park Visitor Centre,
State Highway 73
Arthur's Pass
Canterbury

Dear Arthur's Pass National Park Visitor Centre,

15/10/18

my name is Hana Ki-ora, in the holidays my family and I took our caravan to the Hawdons
camping grounds, We have been at the Hawdons camping grounds multiple times.

I decided to write you this letter to tell you about how it was when I camped at the Hawdons.
First of all I had a great time when I visited during the holidays. I really like the camping grounds,
they are awesome! The scenery is beautiful, I love the view of the mountains, the trees and the rivers
It’s breathtaking. My family and I go to your camping grounds every school holidays,  each time we go
there we enjoy it! I also like how there are lots of trees and greenery there, One of my favorite things to
do in the Hawdons is climb the trees. In Arthurs Pass there is always something to do, from climbing
tall mountains to seeking the animals down below. I like it how to keep it all natural and left most of the
area alone, there is lots of wildlife wondering around. Now the Bealeys the service, it’s really nice, the
owner of the place is my Dads friend, once she gave us extra ice cream. Although really weird that
when you look on your side it is really dry, and when you look on the other side it is full of life and
greenery.

In Arthur’s Pass please can you add more walking tracks? It would be a much better
improvement! It also might be nice if you added A biking track too. We would maybe like it
if you added in a flushing toilets too. We would like a decent camping ground, it would be much
nicer along with a park for children to play on (in my opinion because I’m an 8 year old girl).
Now that’s what I will like you to improve on, otherwise you are great! Also Please
send a letter back ôヮô

My First Post EVER!

Ki-ora! my name is Hana and I am a student at Yaldhurst model school  I am 8 years old. this is my first blog post EVER! so I would like to talk about me!

I live in Christchurch,  I love to spend my time with nature, my family and playing my ukulele. I favor camping in Arthur's pass, me and my family like to go there because my Dad can go hunting for venison. My Mom, me and my sister like Arthur's pass because of the extraordinary view. My favorite sport is table ping pong and swimming. My dream is to be able to fly, one day I might start studying to try to invent something that I could pass on so it would improve and my dream could come true! My family used to have a dog named Oscar, though he passed away at the age of 15, he had a good life. We all grew up together as a family but we had to lose one. my favorite part of my house is my garden, we grow food, flowers and much more. Every day the garden improves thank-you to my hard-working Mother. My Mom is 43 and my dad is 52. I have a grandma and grandad, my grandad also passed away but my grandma is still going. We also have a cat that wonders around, we see him lots before we go to school he is a nice cat his name is Roxy. I have an AMAZING big sister she is caring, kind, sharing and lots more, she really does mean the world to me! My family lives in a container house because My Dad wanted to design the house how he liked it. There is a fireplace, a kids area, and an Xbox! (which will come back very very soon) and also My Dad works very hard every day and every night to find and cut firewood for the fire to keep us nice and cozy warm. Thank you for taking your time to read this, I hope you now know lots about me!
