  1. Thank you for sharing information about Japan. I love your title: 'Joyful Japan'. Your comment about cherry blossoms reminded me that I have friends who visited Japan and loved the country and its people.

Do you think you would like to visit Japan? What would you do to prepare yourself before going?Would you learn some of the Japanese language?

I look forward to your next blog post.

  2. Hi Hana,
I really like the presentation of your blog. The photos are a great support of the information you have. I would love to visit Japan one day. We thought about travelling through on our way home, but sadly it didn't happen for us. I found your information to be fascinating. I did not know that Japan had that many islands! What is the next thing you are going to learn about? Do you have a goal for the summer learning journey?
Thanks for your great blog post

  4. Hi Hana.
Yes, I'm back. Also, cheak your puntuation. The last blog you made had the same mistakes but besides that, this blog is awsome. I had no idea that Japan is made out of 6852 islands! Also, 9.273 million people. Fun fact, Japan and NZ are roughy the same size but the population is twice the amount of NZ. Bye for now.

  5. Good blog Hana. You forgot to mention that one reason you may have chosen Japan is possibly because your mother is Japanese.
What an amazing fact about Japan being made up from 6852 islands. I must confess that I doubted this fact and checked. You were correct! Did you know that only 430 of the islands are inhabited.

  7. Kia ora, I'm Amelia from Yaldhurst Model School. I like how you have got lots of images along with facts. When I read your post I learnt that population of the capital city is 9.273 million people. Wow! To improve, you could put it on a slide and put on some pretty backgrounds, thats what I usually do. When did Mrs Morgan come over to your classroom?

My name is Mia from Rimu Class! I really enjoyed your blog, with the facts (although I knew most of them since I'm Japanese myself) that you have added. I like the pictures and it's good that you added the link. Make sure to remember to put in the link of were you got the picture as well.
